SwimCats Advance 4 to State Meet (2.4.17)

The Aledo swim team competed at the UIL Regional 2-5A Swimming Championships in Mansfield on February 3rd and 4th.  As a team, the girls swim finished in 7th place and the boys’ team placed 18th. Varsity RaquetCats Sweep Doubles at Arlington High Tourney (2.3.17)

The Aledo High School varsity tennis team had another strong tournament medaling in three events on February 3 at the Arlington High School tournament.  Competing teams included: Wylie, Argyle, Mansfield, Arlington, Red Oak and Burleson high schools. Varsity RaquetCats Dominate at Brewer Tournament (1.27.16)

The Aledo High School varsity tennis team had an outstanding showing at their first tournament of the spring season on January 27 at the Brewer Polar Bear tournament, by medaling in every draw.  Some of the teams in competition with the Aledo team were Brock, Azle, Brewer, Duncanville, and Weatherford. JV Tennis Sweeps Singles at Brewer Tournament (1.24.17)

The JV RaquetCats swept the boys and girls A singles with first place finishes by Payton Neely (boys) and London Kasper (girls).  They took 3rd place in girls A singles (Lauren Krieger) and A mixed doubles (Jack Mayer/Concetta Ogden). Aledo Powerlifting Team Takes First Place at Springtown Meet (1.26.17)

The Aledo Powerlifting Team competed at the Springtown Porcupine Powerlifting Meet on January 26.  The team came away with first place.  Only the top three in each weight class medal. Due to the increasingly bad weather and icy conditions, all athletic events at Aledo ISD and any events our student-athletes may have scheduled to travel to today or tomorrow have been canceled. The Aledo Athletic Department will announce when events will be rescheduled.
